About the carrier

ANA is Japan's largest airline and a five-star carrier for over a decade, flying nonstop from London to Tokyo Haneda. Its flagship 777-300ER carries two of the most acclaimed cabins in the air: The Room, a Business suite so spacious and private it is regularly named the best Business seat in the sky, and The Suite, an eight-suite First Class to match — and the London service is flown by exactly that aircraft. A new 787 Business suite, The Room FX, begins arriving on long-haul routes from late 2026, bringing the same doored, living-room feel to ANA's smaller jets; First Class stays on the 777-300ER. The cabin you fly depends on the aircraft, and that is what we confirm before you book.

The Suite — ANA First Class on the 777-300ER — is the matching First product, with even more space, a 33-inch HD monitor, and full sliding doors. It is one of the most genuinely private First products flying today. ANA's older 777s, 787s and A380s carry the previous-generation Business and First cabins, which remain competent but lack The Room's footprint. London is served daily out of Heathrow on the 777-300ER fitted with The Room and The Suite.

HND is twenty minutes from central Tokyo by car; NRT is an hour. ANA's LHR service is timed to use HND, which most business travellers prefer.

Crews trained in Japanese omotenashi service tradition. The pace is deliberate; nothing is hurried. The food is genuinely good — Tsujitomi-supervised Japanese menu, plus Western options.
