Tokyo.
In the cabin worth flying.
Twelve hours direct from London, fourteen on the way back. ANA The Room is the single best Business class product in commercial aviation. We know which routes have it, and which don't.
Fourteen hours eastbound demands the right seat.
The return leg — eastbound against the jetstream — is the one that earns the lie-flat bed. ANA "The Room" on the 777-9 is the product we recommend first; a full enclosed suite with a sliding door, the best Business class meal service in the sky, and a genuine place to sleep.
JAL Sky Suite is the close second. BA First on the A380 is the argument for First class on this route — a genuinely private suite at a fare that is still below the published price.
All London–Tokyo flights operate from Heathrow. Connections from regional UK airports route via Frankfurt (Lufthansa), Helsinki (Finnair) or Heathrow itself.

Open the London → Tokyo route pageJapan has four very distinct seasons.
Tokyo is a year-round destination but cherry blossom and autumn foliage are the two most sought-after windows — and the most competitive for premium fares.
Cherry blossom · the most popular
Late March to mid-April. Premium fares are at their annual peak and Business inventory sells out months ahead. Book early.
Late spring · quieter and good
The crowds thin after blossom season. Strong availability, good fares, and Tokyo at its most temperate.
Autumn foliage · the second peak
Mid-October to mid-November. Prices rise again — book 3 months ahead for Business, longer for First.
Winter · cold and quiet
Lowest fares of the year, shorter daylight hours. The best window for a last-minute premium booking at a negotiated rate.
Tokyo and Japan beyond.
Many of our Tokyo clients add Osaka, Kyoto or Hiroshima by Shinkansen — or fly onward to Seoul, Singapore or Hong Kong. We arrange the entire journey: premium cabin from London, and the onward legs.
Japan is also one of our most popular multi-city destinations via a Gulf stop. An overnight in Dubai or Doha on the way out makes the 12-hour segment feel shorter.
For complete luxury packages, our sister brand HighStreet Holidays uses the same office.
Quick answers on Tokyo.
Which airline should I fly to Tokyo?
ANA The Room is the best Business class product on the route — if dates align and availability allows, we recommend it without hesitation. BA is the better choice if the ground experience (Concorde Room, First Wing) matters as much as the cabin.
Is there a direct flight from regional UK airports?
No — LHR is the only UK departure point for non-stop flights. From regional airports, we route via Frankfurt (Lufthansa) or Helsinki (Finnair), both on a single ticket.
How far in advance should I book Business class to Tokyo?
For cherry blossom (March–April) or autumn foliage (October–November), 4–6 months ahead. For other times of year, 6–10 weeks is typically sufficient for strong availability.
Is it ATOL protected?
Yes. Every booking is ATOL protected under licence 12118.

In the words of clients who've stayed.
“I haven't booked a flight myself in four years. They know which seat I want on the A380, that I prefer to land before midday, and the hotel that runs a quiet floor. I phone, they call back, and it's done.”Henry C. · Chairman · London & Geneva
“Our directors travel constantly and finance need everything reconciled. Travelin Business is the only piece of the operation no one complains about. VAT-ready, on time, and quietly cheaper than what we were paying.”Sarah M. · EA to the CEO · Mayfair-based fund
